    Hello, from Stafford and Marilyn Burrowes, the owners of Treasure Reef, a popular tourist attraction in Ocho Rios. We started Treasure Reef together, and it quickly became a family business. Marilyn is our vice president of marketing and public relations, and takes care of all aspects of the operation. Gregory, our youngest son, is vice president and is currently assisting our in-house vet, while his wife Kristie is a dolphin trainer who is studying to be a vet assistant. Our son Neil manages operations and Dean, our eldest, is also on the marketing team, while his wife, Dr Ravidiya Burrowes, serves as our head of the compliance department and our environmental consultant.

    Our team work has led us to our success today, and we pride ourselves in going above and beyond our clients’ expectations by offering courtesy and excellence.

Treasure Reef employs approximately 200 staff members, all trained in various areas. Treasure Reef employees include trained and licensed shark trainers, stingray wranglers, lifeguards, boat drivers, tour guides, food and beverage staff, and lots of entertainers. Those who visit Treasure Reef find it hard to leave. It is undoubtedly one of Jamaica’s most action-packed, fun-filled attractions.

Treasure Reef also hosts half-a-dozen sharks, stingrays, and other fascinating life forms in facilities that sprawl across 1,700 feet of beachfront and lagoons, designed to replicate the animals’ natural environment. That allows swimmers and animal lovers to share an unforgettable experience during their excursion at Treasure Reef. Since 2006, Treasure Reef has included an extensive boardwalk with a pirate village, interactive programs with stingrays and sharks, and the creation of a beach with private cabana.
